What is the American Pirate Party, or APP?
"The American Pirate Party was founded on the idea that there is an overwhelming amount of corruption in the political world today, and it needs to be fixed. We aim to be honest, intellectual people, our goals being the betterment of ourselves and others, and the utilization of technology to create a more open society, a society where knowledge and well-being are treasured more than personal financial gain. We can achieve a better standard of living than where we're at now - we're people, and we're smart. Change is scary, but it's also healthy, and we can better our lives if we try. Let's raise the bar known as the standard of living. There seems to be an increasing number of people interested, so let's get it done."

Council Meeting 2010-02-02
Submitted by foolman89
There will be a council meeting today at 9:30 EST @ #app-meeting on irc.freenode.net (see APP IRC for help)
Currently the agenda is as follows.
1) The current state of the constitution a. Its progress. b. What's missing. c. Time of completion d. Adding structure of administration.
2) New polling system.
3) Facebook Migration
4) Party platform.
5) New motions, ideas, discussions.
I just want to remind everybody this is a council meeting so we do want minimum interruptions. We really don't want to mute everyone, but if the meeting does become chaotic we will have too. Open discussion will happen at point 5 where new motions and ideas may be brought up.
